This was my second streak, basically after i did my first streak that was it, i had done it once and
wasn't planning to again.
Well i had a website of mine i wanted to promote he he !!!
so i thought what better way ?
i went a supermarket into the clothes section and found a t-shirt for £2 and a pair of shorts for £3
i took these and undone the seam and bought some velcro strips, i went into an alteration shop
and asked the woman to sew the velcro in place, she asked what for ? so i explained lol
Todays the day, i have my shorts on and have got my mam writing the website on my front and
back, i put my top on stuck some trakky bottoms on, a jumper and some old trainers,i left my
mobile and wallet behind and set off with just £23 on me and no ticket lol my mate Tom who's a utd fanatic was in the the pub telling everyone there would be a streaker
ofcourse nobody believed him. ( he had inside info )
I got to the ground and was walking up and down trying to find a tout, it wasn't till i got right near the ground that i managed to get one, it was a kids ticket and the guy asked for £25
i give him £23 and went in to the ground, i am not a fan of football so didn't have a clue where my seat was ?
lucky for me it was only 7 rows back from the pitch, i sat down and looked at all the security, they were everywhere, at the bottom of the steps was a gate then a gap of about 4 foot leading upto the advertising boards, there was a guard every 10 foot apart and they watched the crowd like hawks, it's half time and i went off to the toilets and went into a cubicle and took my trakky bottoms and jumper off and went back dressed in dodgy t-shirt and shorts lol
Moving on, 15 minutes into the game and United are losing 3-1 i got up stood on the steps and acted like i was looking for something,security watched me till they thought he's just lost something ?
Well the next thing i know i'm over the advertising board lying face down on the grass with a guard trying to drag me back by my right ankle and i mean really pulling ( oww !!!! )
>> the crowd was silent, not a sound <<
i realised that he only just had a grip so pushed my toes against the board and he lost grip
i jumped and the crowd went wild !!! i started running and looked back expecting this guard and more behind me ( no ) they weren't there ? i found out later that their policy is to stay back and let the police take over.
well as i ran i ripped off my t-shirt and threw it, i am now running to the centre line and there's a 6' 2" rugby type guard coming so i quickly ripped my shorts off and threw them, the crowd were going mental, here he comes and touchdown !!!
that bit didn't hurt, i use to do Aikido and instinctly used his weight and speed to throw him over me, you can see me do this in one of the many youtube vids of me.
Now i am on the floor with 2 guards on me and a Milan player comes over and puts his hand out
to help me get up but a copper told him to back off so he did. ( nice of him )
i was stood up and couldn't believe the ref was giving me a red card lol
the big guard had my arm up my back quite hard and whe we got into the tunnel a police chief come over and said to the guard "" you can let go of him now ""
the guard ignored him so the copper repeated himself, still ignored, so the copper shouted in a nasty voice "" Get off him now !!! "" ( love it )
They took my photo with a dodgy Polaroid,the chief shouted to the arresting officer "" come and have your photo took with this fine young man "" and i'm like yeah they don't care they think it's funny.
they put me in a small cell under the terraces and left me there till the fans had gone
apparently loads of fans were waiting outside to greet me so the police kept me behind till most of the fans had gone.
2 hours had gone and i was took to Stretford nick where i was charged,while in there i had to see the police doctor because i had a massive friction burn and could barely walk.
after i seen the doctor i done an interview and was released on bail.
a copper give me a lift to my mams.
Outcome :
August 04th and i am in court, i went in and the judge was very serious but when i was told not to streak again the other 2 judges were giggling and smirking lol
i got 12 months unconditional discharge and £70 court cost and lost my job through this.
Afterwards :
My mate in the pub said i was on United tv for about 3 seconds showing the guard taking me down.
i never saw anything in the papers then a few days later my brother rang to say his friend bought Zoo magazine and there was a full page about me with photos and comments lol
so i looked and there it was.
i am also number 6 of Zoos top ten streaks on their website.
